Identifying improved approaches and enhanced solutions to improving vibrant minds is what drives and inspires Tariq. His advice to the all the mentees reading this is as Openheimer’s to his brother, Frank; “try to understand really, to your own satisfaction, thoroughly and honestly, the few things in which you are most interested; because it is only when you have learnt to do that, when you realise how hard and how very satisfying it is, that you will appreciate fully the more spectacular things like relativity and mechanistic biology.”

In his leisure time, Tariq enjoys reading, playing squash and FIFA on PS4.
